If the symptoms are recurrent or persistent in nature the condition is called Allergic rhinitis. Patients with allergic rhinitis are treated with Antihistamines, Steroid nasal sprays or a combination of the two. Duration of treatment is determined on a patient to patient basis. Patients with chronic allergy will be suggested Allergy identification (Know more about  Allergy testing – Skin Prick Test) & desensitisation ( also called Immunotherapy)
