Allergy Testing
Inhalant allergens are responsible for symptoms of nasal allergy (also called Allergic Rhinitis). The Inhalant allergen may be in the indoor environment (house dust mite, mould spores, pet etc) or outdoor (Pollen & others).
Skin Prick Test
It is possible to detect what the patient is allergic to by doing a skin prick test. The results of the test are available in 20 to 30 minutes. Following the test, the patient can go through a treatment process called Immunotherapy.
Sublingual Immunotherapy
The treatment usually extends for upto 3 years. The Immune system gradually stops responding to the Allergen thereby reducing the symptoms of allergy.
